The Tuggeranong Stage was designed by Philip Leeson Architects to complement a natural amphitheatre formed for large community activities at Tuggeranong Park, providing a focussed space for impromptu and planned performances. Roof trusses form a dual purpose as a frame from which to hang lighting and audio equipment for large concerts.
The stage is constructed from steel members and perforated panels, with a concrete stage platform to minimise ongoing maintenance as well as minimising the chance of vandalism.
