Ainslie House Addition

Completed in 2015, this lively addition to a 1950’s weatherboard home in Ainslie is a considered response to the surrounding Canberra streetscape. The clients were looking for a modest but modern extension that would work in harmony with their existing dwelling. The resulting new extension sits comfortably over the existing traditional Canberra weatherboard house while the playful colour scheme adds a cheerful new dimension to the surrounding urban landscape.
